May 7 UNITY is people of the light Believe in the light... while you have it, so that you will be the people of the light. ~ John 12:36
Anne Herbert was sitting in a
restaurant in Sausalito, California, when she wrote down a phrase
she’d been mulling over for days. Now the phrase is seen
everywhere on bumper stickers, business cards, and at the bottom
of letters. One woman saw it spray-painted on a warehouse 100
miles from her home. When she got home, she tried to recall it
to write it down, but it wasn’t quite right. So she drove all
the way back to copy it. “Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty.” Herbert believes that “random kindness” can trigger a tidal wave of good in the world, just as “random violence” triggers evil. Maybe that’s why the phrase is seen everywhere. It touches something deep in the heart; it appeals to the very best in us. ~ Fr. Pat Umberger http://frpat.com/ What “random kindness” or “senseless act of beauty” can you commit today? Like all revolutions, guerrilla goodness begins slowly, with a single act. Let it be yours. ~ Anonymous
