UNITY is a Knight and his Lady as one

 His left arm is under my head, and his right arm embraces me.  ~ Song of Songs 2:6

 To most women affection symbolizes security, protection, comfort, and approval, vitally important commodities in their eyes. 

When a husband shows his wife affection, he sends several messages to her –

 I’ll take care of you and protect you.  You are important to me, and I don’t want anything to happen to you.

I’m concerned about the problems you face, and I am with you.

 I’m so proud of you.

Men need to understand how strongly women need these affirmations and that there can hardly be enough of them.  From a woman’s point of view, affection is the essential cement of her relationship with a man.  ~ Willard Harley, adapted from His Needs, Her Needs

 Do you send these messages of affection to your Lady?

 And now these three remain:  faith, hope and love. 

But the greatest of these is love.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.  ~ 1 Corinthians 13:13, Ephesians 5:25
